Calle Arco located in Rizal Street Pagsanjan, Laguna. It is one of the most popular restaurants here in Pagsanjan. The restaurant has a vintage style with lots of traditional Pinoy decorations. They serve  varieties of Pinoy dishes.

This restaurant has a bright pink in color, and when you step closer there is a washed out blue color door. At the left side and right side of the restaurant, there are tables and decorations that are really good in sight.

As you enter the door, there you will see the mini bar and buffet area with yellow painted walls. At the left side, there’s a place wherein customers who wants more romantic place to eat with their love ones could go there. 

This place has a pink painted walls, it has also collections of different mini statues, bottles, teakettles, wine glasses and many more. And it also has a two hanging wonderful chandeliers.

At the middle/center of the restaurant, there are also lots of hanging pictures of the popular actors/actresses who went there. Then you will see a large door and as you enter, and at the right side the old looking piano is located.

There, you will also see a place where they are good for handling or organizing events.

This restaurant marks in the map, and it just represents the pinoy traditions. Tourists would really love this place with its attractive style especially the foods that they serve.

Pride of Pagsanjan

One of the best restaurants here in Pagsanjan is Calle Arco. This has been giving pride to its place making Pagsanjan more popular than usual. It looks like just a house but when you go inside you will see what we are talking about. It's an old house, renovated, became a restaurant and now it is getting good for others.

It has its mini bar in the side for the people who will just take desserts. It's kinda small (because it's mini) but when you go inside, you can relax and eat while sitting on the comfy chairs. They have this tasty wines but will serve your tummy.

I can say  that the owner is a girl and she really likes the color of pink. The restaurant has very nice and catching decorations inside. Much more of plates, picture, and miniature in the walls.

This restaurant is like saying " feel at home" based on the arrangements. You can take things easy, seat and read magazines, books, and newspapers.

Marvelous Statue of Christ (Grotto)

We all know that Kamay ni Hesus is popular among Catholic pilgrims. You can see a lot of statue inspired by some characters mentioned in the Bible and some of them are donated by Roman Catholics.

There is a food court which serve tasty foods and the cheap but good pancit habhab which we ate and souvenir stores that sell Catholic stuffs like rosary, figure of saints, key chains, and many more.

A place for people to stand their candles and speak a prayer for their special someones and to God.

A big brown ark so called Noah's ark that actually serves as a dorm for long time visiting people.

Here is a pond full koi fish that entertains people specially kids.

This place has their own church and this marvelous statue place on the top of the hill. This is the main attraction of the place and it's really a challenge to reach it. You cant take shortcuts, you really need to take the original way for you to see the statue in a close view. After a journey to the top, you can take pictures and in the back of the statue, you can relax for some time and get down after satisfying your eyes.

FBMS

Francisco Benitez Memorial School (FBMS) is located in Pagsanjan, Laguna near Cosme Street. This is a public school exclusive for elementary students only. It has two gates, quite big inside, its place is elevated like a mini mountain, has a lot of trees, gardens, buildings, places for event inside the school.

 It’s really peaceful and refreshing there because of the fresh air produced by the trees and they have some place for the students to get some cooling time.

The School competes different events inside and outside the wall. Their students are well trained for mind, sports, and other competitions. Even though the school has many students, still the main persons handling it can organize it well.

It has its canteen of course, suitable for the number of students there. Foods are affordable and also delicious.

Teachers make the kids to do gardening so that they can learn that plants are very important.

This stadium is used for picture takings, graduation days, recognition and also for gatherings.

We got to the top of the school, entering in a small gate, through the mini forest and there was the tank used by the Chinese as a storage for weapons but it’s covered with something hard that is hard to break to protect kids from falling in the hole.

FBMS or Fransisco Benitez Memorial School, also known as Central. This school was one of the popular schools here in Pagsanjan, Laguna, wherein it is a public school for elementary only. This is located near Cosme St. besides United Evangelical Church of Pagsanjan Laguna.

There’s a large green gate, inside of it, a lot of trees, classrooms at the right side and on the left side. There’s a wide place good for class pictures and events. Beside of it, there’s the stage and canteen.

When you visit this school, you will feel the cleanliness and the freshness of the surrounding  and its very important because while  they’re maintaining the environment, also they’re  helping  to maintain the children’s health.

The faculties and staff are really responsible  because when we got there, someone is cleaning the place, someone is arranging the stuffs, and some are doing  their work even its weekend.

At the top of the place. A garden was located, and also has a resting place. There’s also a covered court good for students who enjoy sports. And the last one is the huge tank. This tank is really rare.

Long Lasting Foundation

The Catholic Church of Pagsanjan , Laguna. This church is owning a school that is located beside it. The church is big , white painted, has a large gate facing the national highway and has its extension for some events like for receptions. The church is full of statues from the characters in the bible.

Inside, there are angel statues right after the door emphasizing the hallway up to the main altar. The altar is considered as a sacred place, kneeling in front of it is giving respect for the Roman Catholics.

There is a boutique in the side of the church after you go in and also a stairs up way to the large bell. But before that you will see a place for the choir when there is a mass. Then you will reach the top and see the large bell or so called kampana, 4 small bells in side and the big one in the middle and in top of it is a large mass of bats hiding from the sun.

There is also a place where you can see the precious and relic stone in front of Mama Mary's statue from Mexico, they believe that it is a part of the place where Mama Mary once stood up. And  in the back of the statue is a crown and three mitres worn by popes. The crown is silver in color and it was like shining.

A church doesn’t need to be beautiful,  a church needs a heart that is willing to serve His God.

I just saw a statue of a real Hero !

Kamay ni Hesus also known as Grotto, is one of the most visited place here in Lucban, Quezon. This place attract lots of people to come here with it’s beautiful spots especially the 50-foot statue of Christ.

At first, we rode using a PUV jeep, around 1 ½ - 2 hours ride. When we got there, we saw a mini falls with a statue at the right side of the entrance and then we saw the second largest statue at Grotto. 

The canteen was located at the back part besides the boutique stores. The canteen has divisions with different varieties of foods.

 After that, we came at Garden of Eden, there’s the Noah’s ark then there’s also a small bridge with fish pond. The fish pond with it’s different kinds of fish are beautiful in sight that attracts people. While walking along, we saw Adam and Eve statues.

Then after that, we climb up the stairs with 305 steps to reach the statue of Christ, each turn, there are mini statues representing the story of Jesus Christ. We took some pictures and rest while enjoying the beautiful view. Each sweat and steps are worth it.

There’s also a church, a boutique store, a souvenir shop, a healing center and a shop of healing products where you can buy. Try to visit this place Kamay ni Hesus for you to explore and have an adventure with friends, family, or relatives. 

One of God's house

   Catholic Church of Liceo de Pagsanjan, this church has cool spots inside, a wide area with four columns of long wooden chairs. This church is located at the town plaza of Pagsanjan, Laguna. You can find this church when you see a large white gate. Inside the property, there’s a parking lot, a church and a school.

 At the entrance door of the church. You’ll see a statue at the upper part of the church.

Statues that were inspired by famous characters in the bible can be found inside the church. The altar looks like real made of gold, silver and bronze. There were three angels at the lower part of the altar, and the angel that is in the middle is handling a moon.People here really respect the altar that they remove their footwear and should kneel before going there.

We went to the top of the church where in the large bell is located. The way up there was kind a complicated, the stairs are narrow and some blocks are missing replaced by some skinny but hard woods. In the top of the large bell so called kampana and bats hiding from the light of the sun. The bell is beautiful but the view on the outside is'nt, you will see a lot of roof !

This is where the choir takes place while there is a mass.

 After that, we went to the altar of the church where there is a vigil and a relic stone is located. They are precious and beautiful in sight. There is the statue of Mama Mary and in the back of it, you can see a crown and three mitre worn by popes.

The church looks ordinary, but its quite cool. Try to check it out !
